This is a marvelous Kachin State NE Burmese/Myanmar wool Jinghpaw 'pukhang' hip wrapper skirt. It is woven in two pieces and stitched together. Designs are in wool and other fibers. The workmanship is meticulous and of fine quality.
This is an old and ethnographic piece.
